The Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) is open to anyone who wishes to demonstrate a baseline of payroll competency. The FPC is designed for Entry-level Payroll Professionals. This is an intensive Payroll "body of knowledge" review course requiring an estimated 6-8 hours per week study time, plus the weekly review sessions.

Any CPP who needs recertification hours can take the class once per tax year covered and receive RCHs.  You can earn up to 14 RCH credit hours for attending!   CPP Fall exam dates are September 5 – October 3, 2026, based on federal tax laws and regulations in effect 1/1/2026.

Mid-year changes are NOT reflected in the exams.

Cost - Registration will temporarily reserve a seat, but only payment of funds will secure a seat for the class. Seats are limited and the class fills up quickly.
