Navigating through a new era of hybrid work and pandemic-related protocols is only the beginning of some of the changes payroll professionals need to face. How will some of the tools we use now for payroll change? This session will go over how the adoption of new technologies will transform the payroll function, from the moment someone begins work, to including the use of distributed ledger (blockchain) applications as well as biometrics, the ability to sync data with disparate systems, and even involvement in the so-called "metaverse."
