The Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) is open to all those who wish to demonstrate a baseline of payroll competency. The FPC is designed for Entry-level Payroll Professionals. The Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) Exam is intended to prepare intermediate to advanced level Payroll Professionals. This is an intensive Payroll "body of knowledge" review course requiring an estimated 6-8 hours per week study time plus the weekly review sessions.

Recertification

Any FPC/CPP who needs recertification hours can take the class once per tax year covered and receive RCHs.  The instructor is open to doing Zoom attendance for members looking for Recertification. Email instructor for more information.

You can earn up to 27 RCH credit hours for attending! 

Exam dates:

FPC/CPP Spring exam dates are March 19 - April 16, 2022, based on federal tax laws and regulations in effect 1/1/2021.

Mid-year changes are NOT reflected in the exams.

Book Info: The class will be taught from the 2021 Payroll Source (required). The eBook or Hardback book can be purchased from APA - American Payroll Association-Payroll Source Store.
